Final Post

Alright...um...I;m guessing this is the last post for this term. We are nearly 100% done, we just need to edit sound a bit and teak a few things.
I learned ALOT this term. Aside of getting to know the team better, I got to know myself better. I was very comfortable working in a team. I was actually kinda sad to know this project was eventually going to come to an end. Knowing that we all pitched in different abilities and talents to help create a project was amazing.
I know now how to do an amazing jib jab animation with a great quality look.
It helps working with very talented people and having all of them give you their different opinions.

What is not working: trying to organize myself during finals
Other thoughts: I know this is going to look awesome once we completely finish this. It so cool and nerve wrecking to see files I worked on be enhanced by someone else. I mean, I feel like truly EVERYONE is putting their sweat in tears into it. I just feel like I want to give back that effort as best I can because that's what I feel I am getting from them.
Thats why I stress...
But that won't stop me from doing my best.

What is working: so far...everything...*needs new jump drive though...*
What is not working: everything is good so far. need to be in class on time.
Other thoughts: i have some concerns about my short...especially on certain elements. i got a lot of great feedback from teachers and some of them concern me to a degree. i mean, its good and all, but, there were certain things that i REALLY need to think over before i go into anything i dont feel right about. i dont know...i need to lay down and think.

State of mind: Still focused
Task at hand: continue with editing images, now that I fully think I know what I am doing.
On the horizon: photo shoot tomorrow (hope I don't embaress myself tomorrow...)
What is working: In class work. It makes things SO much faster. And editing storyboards with Max. Thank you Max for your suggestions.
What is not working: There were some issues with the communications as in what we were supposed to be doing with the pictures and what we wanted for the couch or not.
Other thoughts: I have plenty of work to do...but I feel like am not doing enough?

State of mind: focused
Task at hand: Finishing son images and finishing storyboards(halfway done)
On the horizon: Next photo shoot, more clean ups and animating
What is working: In-class work, new photoshop installed in computer that will speed up my work at home and determination
What is not working: Prioritizing assignments. All of them require alot of attention.
Other thoughts: None yet. I'm still slow at photoshop. Need to get better.

On the Horizon: Continuing with storyboards and finishing my assigned photos.

What is Working: Having gone to see the firemen and actually get a good grasp of their noble career.
What is not Working: My lazy lazy and tired self.
Other thoughts: So, I went to see the firemen and I saw an old salpointe classmate of mine there. Not anyone that I knew personally, he used to make out with his girlfriend in the alley I used to hide in because I didn't work well in that enviroment. He showed me around, got me to try some stuff and actually touch things. It was amazing. I wish I had taken a camera. I feel like a retard, but I know everything and I know how to put it to good use.

Mr. G's lecture was very informative and relaxed me a bit on how the whole process will go. It should be good. Lets get this goin' guys!

What is Working: I did some storyboardz for the team tomorrow. I had fun making them. They can take what they want. I hope it helps the boys. I also started the animatic/storyboards for my short. I need to finish up the silent script, but I can't stop working. I HAVE time now to do so.
What is not Working: This weekend. I want to sleep this weekend over or just get out of Tucson. Its not helping my work flow. *ANGER*

So, I started on some work and I feel like I can really participate on the hands on stuff. My brain today was not up for suggestions and I feel awful since everyone was putting so much input. Then, when Charles told me that they were meeting tomorrow to storyboard and I don't think I'll be able to make it, I went ahead and started to storyboard what I had seen based on what Max told us. They're not perfect, and could use some work, but they should help the process.

Just thinking what knowledge I really need to be photography director. I mean, I can take decent photos, I know some stuff on photomanipulation,etc. But I am not specialized on ONE thing. Considering on just giving the task to Ben and being his assistant. I jumped into a river I don't know where the current leads. Sorta...disappointed in myself. I should've kept my mouth shut and stayed with design, seeing that's what I'm good at.

Field Trip!

State of mind: Excitement, ready to move on.
Task at hand: Write a second script, silent this time and move on to character design. Do some quick family designs and save the "fireman" design for when I go meet the firemen.(did some research...GOOGLE SUCKS..I NEED SOME REAL STUFFZ).
On the horizon: More character design,editing of script a bit and synopsis.
What is working: Story,planning. Energy.
What is not working: MUSIC~! NEED MUSIC!
Other thoughts: Um, I'm glad everyone liked my story...I'm sorry I almost burst into tears when I pitched it. It reminded me of the time I pitched my painter story. So, thanks everyone. I promise to take in all the input I can to make this a great film. I will make all of you guys proud. <3

Thinking things out the right way

State of mind: sense of urgency...
Task at hand: start researching and finish story treatment
On the horizon:...lotsa work
What is working: so far, my general story as a whole and a few of the character designs
What is not working: Figuring out if I just want music or narrator...I don't want to hang on to the past...maybe when I pitch it, I can convince myself into what I want.
Other thoughts: I started writing out the story treatment, and realized there were a lot of little elements that I want to add on. It may end up being a little over a minute. Not by much. Need to actually start sacrificing sleep for once....and the term just started...hehehe..

Task at hand: I have to finish writing my synopsis, get my script done and move on to story boards~! I have some of the character designs started so I shouldn't be horridly worried (but I should maintain that way so I can continue the ryhthmn)
What is working: story...so far
What is not working: Figuring out the general texture and feel I want for the piece...may have to test in actual paintings and stuff...
Other thoughts: I am trying to maintain all my energy focused on this as long as I can until more hectic or somethin'...
